APP SUPPORT
How can we help?
Clear answers for setup, learning tools, progress, and the Apple Watch companion.
Do I need an account?
No. Echo Odyssey does not require sign-in. Your learning progress, bookmarks, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
How do I continue where I stopped?
Use bookmarks for a deliberate return point. Echo Odyssey also keeps your local progress so completed cards remain visible when you reopen the app.
How do the reading tools work?
Open Settings → Reading Tools to choose larger text, adjust speech speed, and test the English audio reader. The interface also supports Dynamic Type and light or dark appearance.
How does the Apple Watch checklist work?
The Watch companion presents the minimum-study checklist only. Keep the iPhone app installed, open it once, then open the Watch app. Checklist state transfers between paired devices when connectivity is available.
Why does the Watch app ask me to open Echo Odyssey on iPhone?
The Watch needs an initial checklist from its paired iPhone. In Simulator, use an iPhone Simulator paired with that Watch Simulator; a simulated Watch cannot communicate with a physical iPhone.
The Watch checklist has not loaded. What should I try?
Open Echo Odyssey on the paired iPhone, enter Minimum Echo Study once, then reopen the Watch app. Confirm Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi are enabled on physical devices. In Simulator, boot the paired iPhone and Watch together and run both app targets.
Is Echo Odyssey a diagnostic tool?
No. It is an educational reference for echocardiography professionals and learners. It does not diagnose disease, interpret patient data, or replace a complete clinical examination.
How can I report a problem?
Use the developer contact available on the Echo Odyssey App Store product page. Include your device model, software version, the screen or card involved, and a short description. Do not include patient-identifiable information.
